Coache profile: Gema currently is sport co-ordinator and assistant coach for Iranian Premier League Club Pas Hamedan. Gema has been a head coach with a long lasting experience in professional football and is known for his talent to integrate young and unknown players into the professional first teams. He managed Asia's biggest football team Esteghlal Teheran (finished runners up in Iran's Premier League), Iran Premier League clubs Esteghlala Ahvaz and Pas Hamedon as head coach and promoted SW Casino Bregenz into Austria's Max. Bundesliga (Premierleague). Gema has a broad experience in further L2 and L3 clubs in Austria and Germany. He also worked as scout for the Serbian national team to observe opponents during the world cup 2002 qualification campaign.
Achievements: 2006: Formed completely new L2 team Esteghlal Ahwaz who was sole leader of the league after 6 rounds before being appointed as head coach of Esteghal Ahvaz (Premierleague)to avoid relegation. Gema took over Esteghal Ahwaz from 14th place and managed to finsh in 6th place in Iran's SuperLeqague.

2005: Runner up with Esteghlal Teheran (biggest football club in Asia) in Iran's Premierleague

2003: Gema lead FC Lustenau to the best position ever in Lustenau's history.
Under Gema's coaching management, 5 players of FC Lustenau had been called up and played in the Austrian National Team U21 (Jerkovic, Sara)and U19 (Baldauf, Mionreti and Natzer).

2001: Gema took over as head coach at FC Lustenau in December 2001 when the team was 10 points behind a relegation place. Gema managed to save the team from relegation with a 4 points advantage!

June 2001 - Nov 2001: Coach Trainings in Top-Clubs in Europe (FC Barcelona, Lazio Rome, VFB Stuttgart and FC Bayern Munich).

2000 - 2001: Observer for the Serbian National Team during the world cup 2002 qualification campaign.

1999 - 2000 Gema managed to keep SW Bregenz in the Max. Bundesliga (Premierleague) after the promotion. Under his management as head coach, the team was the third best team in the second half of the season. An amazing achievement knowing that Gema mainly integrated young players and players from lower divisions.
Gema had been elected 5th best coach in Austria.

1998 - 1999: Runner up for best professional Football coach in Austria (second, behind winner and Austrian football legend Hansi Krankl)
Winner of the Championship with SW Bregenz (L2, Austria) with an advantage of 11 points and 63 goals scored. Promotion to Austrians Premierleague!

1997 - 1998: 3rd position of the Championship with SW Bregenz (L2, Austria) after taking over the team with 0 points and last place after 4 rounds.

1993 - 1996: Winner of 3 championships with ASV Fellheim. Gema managed to promote his team 3 times in succession!
