Emmanuel Banahene Joins Israeli Premiership Cub Hapoel Petah Tiqwa

Scouting Team player Emmanuel Banahene signed a 1-year deal with Premiership club Hapoel Petah Tiqwa in Israel on Wednesday, July 30. The Club Hapoel Petah Tiqwa agreed a one year loan deal with Ghanaian Club Hearts of Lions in Accra and further holds an option to make the move permanent on a 4-year deal after the loan spell. Loan and transfer fee have not been disclosed. Francis Akwaffo Scores Late Equalizer Against Liberty Professionals

Asante Kotoko left it late to claim a point off Liberty Professionals on Saturday at the El-Wak Stadium on match-day-22. The Porcupine Warriors, who were on the edge of a second league defeat managed to retrieve a point on the stroke of full-time through a strike by Francis Akwaffo to deny the Dansoman-based side a win. A counter attack by the league leaders saw Akwaffo lob the ball over the advancing Liberty goalkeeper for the much needed equalizer and help the Reds to open a 10-point gap at the top.

Samuel Odartey Lamptey Penalty Wins Third Place for Zaytuna United

Zaytuna United third place in the 2008 Liberty U19 International Classic tournament held at the Liberty Carl Raindorf park, Dansoman Accra. Zaytuna United lost 3-1 in the semi Final to Liberty Professionals and met Top Talents FC for the third place position. The match against Top Talents ended in a goalless draw which saw the match straight into penalty shoot out to separate the two teams. The penalty shoots out ended 3-4 in favour of Zaytuna United. Samuel Odartey Lamptey fantastic efforts saw Zaytuna United in Semi final of the ongoing Liberty U19 International Classic tournament. Zaytuna United yesterday lost 3-1 to Liberty Professionals and Scouting Team player Samuel Odartey Lamptey scored the only goal for Zaytuna United. Osumanu Ends The Division One League First Round With Another Super Strike

Scouting Team young sensational Osumanu Mahatma Otoo scored the first goal against King Solomon FC in their last first round league match at Mamprobi Indafa park. Osumanu in the first half got the opener for St Mirren in the first half from another super strike. Osumanu remained the architect of regular raids into the King Solomon FC half in search of more goals which paid off soon as an assist from Osumanu fetched the second goal for St Mirren.
